RHODA REGINA REYES-RARA obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 1990, and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree, major in Legal Management, from the same university in 1986. Ms. Reyes-Rara was a partner at Ponce Enrile Reyes & Manalastas Law Offices.

At present, she is BNU's Special Counsel. Her practice focuses on intellectual property law, particularly trademarks, patents, copyrights and licensing, as well as on telecommunications and information technology. She is also the corporate secretary of several corporations.

Ms. Reyes-Rara is a professor of criminal law at the Far Eastern University for its joint JD-MBA program with De La Salle University, and has been updating and revising the "Revised Penal Code" annotated by Justice Luis B. Reyes.

She has attended numerous trainings, seminars and conferences on intellectual property law and has lectured on intellectual property protection in the Philippines for foreign-based organizations. She has established professional relationships with overseas intellectual property practitioners and is a member of the International Trademark Association, Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Licensing Executives Society of the Philippines, and the Intellectual Property Association of the Philippines.
